Emsella in Las Vegas

Regain Control. Rebuild the Core. Restore Confidence.
Emsella is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive pelvic floor treatment that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic energy to trigger thousands of deep pelvic floor contractions in a single 30-minute session — fully clothed, seated, no downtime. At More Than Medical Wellness in Las Vegas, NV, Emsella is not treated as a simple incontinence device. It is integrated into our Core to Floor philosophy, which recognises the pelvic floor as the foundation of bladder control, core and back stability, hip mechanics, spinal support, sexual function, and everyday movement.

The Technology

What Is Emsella?

A medical-grade HIFEM chair that stimulates the entire pelvic floor musculature while you sit fully clothed.

HIFEM

High-intensity focused electromagnetic energy

Generates powerful, involuntary contractions deeper than voluntary effort can produce.

RE-EDUCATION

Neuromuscular re-activation

Restores recruitment and coordination in muscles that are weak, under-fired, or disconnected.

Emsella is a medical-grade chair device developed by BTL that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic (HIFEM) energy to stimulate the entire pelvic floor musculature while you remain fully clothed. During a single 30-minute session, Emsella delivers the equivalent of approximately 11,200 pelvic floor contractions — an intensity that is not achievable through voluntary exercise alone. These supramaximal contractions help re-educate weakened or underactive pelvic floor muscles, restore neuromuscular activation, and rebuild the structural support the pelvic floor provides to the bladder, core, hips, spine, and surrounding systems. Some patients have pelvic floor muscles that are simply weak; others have muscles that are poorly coordinated, under-recruited, or disconnected from the rest of the core system. Emsella is FDA-cleared for both female and male urinary incontinence and is backed by published clinical research.
Core to Floor

How We Use Emsella Clinically

The pelvic floor is not just a bladder control structure — it is the foundation of your core. It works with the deep abdominal muscles, diaphragm, multifidus, psoas, hips, and lumbar stabilizers to support posture, movement, continence, sexual function, and spinal stability. When it is weak, poorly activated, or neurologically disconnected, the body compensates — and that compensation shows up as leakage, urgency, low back tension, hip instability, poor posture, or reduced sexual function.

Your Emsella plan may be built around

  • 01

Stress, urge, or mixed urinary incontinence

  • 02

    Postpartum pelvic floor weakness

  • 03

Core instability and poor trunk activation

  • 04

Low back pain with a stabilization component

  • 05

    Hip dysfunction or pelvic imbalance

  • 06

Poor psoas and hip flexor mechanics

  • 07

Difficulty with sit-to-stand and functional movement

  • 08

    Reduced vaginal tone or sensitivity

  • 09

Erectile dysfunction with a pelvic floor component

Before beginning treatment, your provider reviews your symptoms, health history, urinary patterns, postpartum history, hormonal status, sexual health goals, movement limitations, core strength, and back pain patterns. Emsella is never a generic device session here — it is one part of a provider-guided plan, frequently combined with hormone optimization, regenerative medicine, and peptide therapy when appropriate.

Beyond the Bladder

Sexual Health, Stability & Functional Strength

Bladder control is the entry point. The pelvic floor also drives sexual function, hip mechanics, and lumbar support.

What improves downstream
Bladder control Core stability Hip mechanics Lumbar support Sexual function
Sexual function depends on pelvic floor strength, circulation, coordination, and neuromuscular integrity. For women, Emsella may help strengthen the musculature that supports vaginal tone, sensitivity, pelvic engagement, and sexual response. For men, the pelvic floor plays an important role in erectile function — including the muscular support needed to achieve and maintain an erection — so Emsella may be used as a non-invasive option where pelvic floor weakness or poor neuromuscular activation is a contributing factor.
Pelvic floor health is also strongly influenced by hormones. Declining estrogen and testosterone contribute to tissue changes, reduced tone, connective tissue weakness, lower libido, vaginal dryness, decreased erectile quality, and slower recovery. Emsella addresses the neuromuscular side by strengthening and reactivating the pelvic floor, while hormone optimization supports the tissue and metabolic environment that allows those gains to hold long term.

The goal is not only better bladder control. The goal is better function from the core down.

Your Session

What to Expect During Treatment

Each Emsella session takes approximately 30 minutes. You remain fully clothed and sit comfortably on the Emsella chair while HIFEM energy stimulates the pelvic floor. Most patients feel tingling sensations and involuntary muscle contractions during treatment. There are no needles, no anesthesia, no sedation, and no downtime. Afterwards you can go straight back to work, errands, or exercise.
The standard protocol includes six sessions scheduled twice per week over three weeks. Many patients begin noticing improvements in bladder control, pelvic tone, sexual wellness, and functional strength within the first few sessions, with continued gains as the series completes. Emsella may not be appropriate if you are pregnant or have certain electronic implants, pacemakers, cochlear implants, or metal implants in the pelvic region — your provider will screen for this at consultation.

The questions we hear most from patients considering Emsella at More Than Medical Wellness.

  • Emsella is an FDA-cleared, non-invasive pelvic floor treatment that uses High-Intensity Focused Electromagnetic energy to create thousands of supramaximal pelvic floor contractions in a 30-minute session — roughly 11,200 per session — while you remain fully clothed. Those contractions strengthen and reactivate pelvic floor muscles that are weak or poorly coordinated.
  • No. Emsella is used for both women and men and is FDA-cleared for male and female urinary incontinence. In men it is also considered where pelvic floor weakness contributes to erectile dysfunction or core instability.
  • Yes — that is its FDA-cleared indication. Emsella may help strengthen the muscles responsible for bladder control and reduce leakage with coughing, sneezing, laughing, or exercise, as well as sudden urgency and frequent restroom trips. For many patients this means fewer leaks, less pad usage, and a meaningful return of confidence.
  • Emsella may help patients whose low back pain is associated with pelvic floor weakness, poor stabilization, or core dysfunction. When the pelvic floor is weak, the body often compensates through the low back, hip flexors, and glutes. Strengthening the floor restores the foundation the rest of the core and lower body rely on.
  • Emsella may support sexual function by strengthening the pelvic floor muscles involved in circulation, tone, sensation, and muscular engagement. In men it may support erectile function when pelvic floor weakness or poor neuromuscular activation is a contributing factor. It is one tool among several — your provider will assess whether it addresses your specific driver.
  • Most patients tolerate Emsella very well, describing tingling and strong involuntary contractions rather than pain. There are no needles, anesthesia, sedation, or downtime. The standard protocol is six sessions scheduled twice per week over three weeks, adjusted by your provider based on your response.
  • Emsella may not be appropriate for patients who are pregnant or who have certain electronic implants, pacemakers, cochlear implants, or metal implants in the pelvic region. Your provider will review your full history before your first session.
  • Yes. Emsella is frequently integrated with hormone optimization, peptide therapy, regenerative medicine, functional medicine, and nutrition support — and pairs naturally with Emsculpt NEO in our Core to Floor protocols for patients rebuilding the whole system rather than one muscle group.
